Our first installment in this collaboration is Adorablins, a pocket sized mint tin story telling game for 2-5 players where 1 takes on the role of the narrator and the others play as adorable little goblin-like heroes.

The game works like a conversation where you all tell a story together. The Narrator describes scenes and situations and players describe how their character reacts.

As players try to overcome challenges or do something risky, the Narrator will call for a dice roll to see how it goes. The player describes what they are trying to do and chooses a skill that best fits their action, then they roll the dice to see how it goes!

​Sessions tend to last between 30 minutes to a few hours and can easily be made to fit whatever time you have to fill. Dinner will be ready in twenty minutes? Grab Adorablins and play a quick game!

We expect Adorablins to hit Kickstarter in January 2022, so keep your eyes peeled!

Squire for Hire: Mystic Runes is a standalone expansion for Squire for Hire that sees your squire assist on quests through treacherous mountains, in hopes of finding the fabled mystic runes.
Continue to efficiently pack, optimize your bag space, reduce junk, and collect the most valuable bag for the adventurer you serve. Discovering Runes will allow you to manipulate cards in order to ensure a high scoring bag.
Mystic Runes is an 18-card, tile-laying inventory management game for 1-2 players that takes about 15-20 min to play and can either be played by itself for a 1-2 player adventure, or combined with the Squire for Hire base game for a 1-4 player experience!
For Squire for Hire: Mystic Runes, we are offering a new Squire Pack bundle! There will be 18 new squires to play as: 9 for Mystic Runes, and 9 for the original Squire for Hire. Use any squire when both packs are combined!

This game first caught our attention on kickstarter with its absolutely charming art. After playing it, we knew it was a winner and approached Jon about a partnership. Jon has done an amazing job on bringing this game together and that showed during his Kickstarter campaign that raised over $22,000 CAD with over 1300 backers! 
Not only is this game amazing but it is small and inexpensive, making it a great gift for those who love games on the go! Hey everyone! 

I just wanted to let you know that we will be attending the Roc Game Fest in 1 week, October 5th, 2019 from 11am EST to 5pm at the Irondequoit Public Library!

If you can come out and make it, I would love to see you! I will have all of our games there and will even be showing off some cool new things on the horizon!

I am also honored to be giving the keynote speech at 11am, so it would be awesome if you all could make it and see what we and all of the other amazing local devs have in the works.

]]><![CDATA[Letiman Games new logo design!]]>Fri, 05 Jul 2019 15:59:29 GMThttps://www.letimangames.com/news/letiman-games-new-logo-designThis is a super exciting day for us at Letiman Games as we are announcing a brand new logo design! Although we have always loved our previous logo we wanted to update it to better reflect our company and the direction we are moving in. Why the logo change? When we first started in the industry (5 years ago), Dan had a friend create the original logo. The conversation basically went like this, “I would like a shield, green in color, I am originally from Boston, so maybe throw the Boston skyline in there, and it is a game company, so maybe a die or a meeple.” Thus, the original Letiman Games logo was born. Although the skyline had meaning to us, the meeple was somewhat unnecessary (as games is in the company name) and the image really did not do a lot to stand out or be memorable.

​Our company is continuously growing and expanding its influence in the board game industry, and with our growth we wanted to adopt a new logo that has a level of professionalism that reflects our company, our games, and our mission. You will notice that we still retained the green shield aesthetic for consistency and brand recognition but we now have a more polished look with a whimsical and fantastical theme that really reflects the wonder we want to instill in players when they play our games. We strive hard to build new worlds and to tell new stories and we hope that you agree, this logo really does a far better job reflecting our company, our games, and our mission!

We are saddened to say goodbye to two games that have meant so much to us. At the same time, this is a turning point for us as we are refocusing our brand and working to better penetrate the hobby game market. 

We will be producing fewer games and trying to focus our efforts on building larger IPs.

We hope you are as excited for what the future holds as we are!
